Mission Statement

PCMH is a provincial, nonprofit, parent-led organization that provide a voice for families who face the challenges of child and youth mental health issues. PCMH provides support, education, and empowerment by linking networks of families, communities, agencies, and government. PCMH believes in the promotion of family-centered principles of care.

Goals:  "To Educate, To Empower, and To Support"

Educate:  Promote understanding of children’s mental health and respect for families.

Empower:  Provide a broad network, increase membership.  Be a strong voice, be proactive, be visible to public.  Work with Government.

Support: Provide timely, accurate, concrete, appropriate information.  Provide compassionate guidance.  Offer peer support.

Vision Statement

PCMH believes that children's mental health is everyone's business and each child, youth, and family has the right to achieve mental wellness, to be supported, and to be treated with equity and respect.
