Chapter Leader - Jennifer

Jennifer has been navigating the mental health system for the last 10 years, advocating, locating and participating in many various avenues of the mental health and school system for her 3 children all of whom have mental health diagnosis’s.

Jennifer is a passionate participant in trying to help others not only find resources for their loved one but to support other parents and families who live life with the reality of having mental health illness so that no one has to feel alone in their journey.

In her spare time, Jennifer spends time practicing self care daily, by doing the things she loves, spending time with her dog, reading, yoga and meditation. She also has a special interest in advocacy for adolescents and their families within the school and mental health community.

Parents for Children's Mental Health believe that children, youth, and their families suffering from mental health challenges deserve our extreme respect and assurance.  We are dedicated to improving the lives of these families.

WE LINK families to important networks within their communities to ensure they get the care they need and the support of families who can relate and support them.

WE UNDERSTAND the issues around child and youth mental health challenges and the stigma that prevents the work and conversations that need to happen.

WE HELP communities and families access important resources so they can begin their journey of healing.

...my family is coming through this with the support of PCMH and its members. I have drawn much of my strength from posts I read on this page every day. … Member, PCMH
